HARBORD DIGGERS SITE TEAM - FRIDAY, 14TH JULY 2017, 12:30PM
This Friday, Ganellen will host lunch for the site team at our Harbord Diggers project. In return for a magnificent bbq lunch we are asking all of the people on site to make individual cash donations to support this great cause.
Ganellen has registered for the 2017 Property Industry Foundation’s National Hard Hat Campaign to help rebuild young lives. We would love your support as we make a difference.
Ganellen has been an active and proud supporter of PIF for 10 years and we have seen first hand the great work they achieve helping young adults and kids.
For the last 8 years Ganellen has been the major sponsor of the annual charity ball which sees 500+ people come together and raise funds. Through our significant support and, most importantly, the hard working team at PIF, we raise over $220,000 each and every year. 100% of the money raised at the ball goes straight to helping young people change their lives for the better.
This year we are expanding our support further by participating in the Hard Hat Campaign. This allows our people and partners to make personal contributions to this great cause.

Property Industry Foundation (the Trustee for)
Every night there are 44,000 young Australians without a safe and secure place to sleep. Not every young person is able to live with their family and for many, foster families are not available. They need a safe and secure place to rebuild their lives. The Property Industry Foundation exists to solve this issue. The Property Industry Foundation leads an industry-wide collaboration that has a tangible impact on youth homelessness by raising funds, building accommodation, and providing ongoing support for homes where young people can live safely. It brings together the property and construction industry to build homes for homeless youth through The Foundation’s flagship home building program – the Haven Project. The Foundation fundraises to build each home in the Haven Project. Each $1 raised is then matched with in-kind donations of skills, labour and goods from the property and construction industry. This unique partnership doubles the value of every $1 donated. The Foundation has been building and refurbishing homes for homeless youth since 1996 and aims to build 300 bedrooms for homeless youth by 2025.
